Today I decided to get rid of all the boring school stuff. Got my ID picture taken, registered for classes, picked up a white coat for the ceremony. Still haven’t picked up my books but we can do that later right?
I went to IGA and the hardware store at Spiceland Mall to get the last few things I need for my room like hangers (from IGA) and shampoo, which are relatively cheap and similarly priced to the US so I wouldn’t recommend bringing those if any future students are reading this. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way that the hardware right next to IGA sells hangers for twice the price so don’t do that.
Note to self: The grilled chicken wraps on campus are pretty good
I’m glad you mentioned the cheap hangers, actually. I am moving there in January and have been wondering if I should bring any. Have you found them any cheaper than IGA?
Not really but it’s not that bad as it is. Definitely don’t bother packing them in luggage though if you can’t fit it. If you’re shipping a barrel though and have a lot of clothes then obviously bring it with you.
I have a little less than 20 hangers right now and that’s all I really need
Do you know the 2015 residency match rate of Saint George’s SOM ?
