First lectures complete

UH YEAH…Definitely pre-read and learn as much anatomy before medical school as possible.

And also, if you haven’t learned DNA replication enough in your life, you will see it in all of its glory. AGAIN.
HOPEFULLY, this is the last time. I don’t think I can hear lectures about DNA polymerase and ligases and leading/lagging anymore. Make it stop.

Other than that, nothing too crazy. Summary: A lot of intro stuff so far. We have to wear scrubs to lab (which I could probably wear everyday cause it’s more comfortable). Biochem is still basic stuff right now, DNA, Nucleic Acids, RNA Processing. Anatomy is everything you can learn about the back, which is overwhelming if you’ve never taken anatomy before. We need to know the muscles, nerves, arteries, everything. And Histology is pretty straight forward so far. We did cells, connective tissues, the simple stuff.
