SGU - Residency Placements by State

SGU has graduates all over the country. For the last 10 years, the majority have consistently been in the New York, New Jersey area accounting for nearly 50%. In the state by state trends, some states have started to accept more SGU students in recent years. Some of these increasingly SGU friendly states include Florida, Texas, Illinois. It is important to note that this is heavily influenced by specialties and programs. Most of Illinois’s recent spike can be attributed to a recent increase in SGU graduates matching to anesthesia positions at Rush University in Chicago.
